The Jr. Youth group at Western Mennonite Church is an active group.  During the school year we meet almost every Thursday evening from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.  Made up of 6th through 8th grade students, we have a great time together! A typical youth group evening usually starts with some sort of fun activity, followed by snack and group sharing and prayer. We have been learning throughout the year to share prayer requests and then to pray for one another and others.

We have also enjoyed doing a number of service projects like helping with the Spring Camp-In children’s activity, cleaning the lodge at Drift Creek Camp to help get things ready for summer youth camps, and helping to organize the annual rummage sale in downtown Salem that raises money to help Oregon Right to Life.
